Something New is Being Added to Quilt Hop Attractions This Year
The Quilt Hop committee is excited to announce that the Four Winds Victorian Venue and Suites will be included this year as a stop on the Quilt Hop tour. The Four Winds was formally known as Granny Lou’s Bed and Breakfast. The new owners have graciously invited us to their home to see their large family quilt collection. One of the many quilts that will be showcased is a vintage pattern called Wildflowers. It is hand embroidered and hand quilted with an all-over diagonal pattern. The inscription in the center reads “To Mother and Father 1941.” Other vintage quilts that will be shown are from the 1920’s and 1930’s.
Visitors to this beautiful Victorian home who book a reservation to spend the night during Quilt Hop will received a 10 per-cent discount on their room. The Four Winds Victorian Venue and Suites is located at 317 W. Sam Rayburn Dr. They can be reached at 903-449-4928.
The 2021 Quilt Hop will include stops at 10 different locations and over 300 quilts will be on display. Vendors and Demonstrations, as well as the ever-popular Fat Quarter Bingo will be held at the Bonham Civic Center. If you have a quilt that you would like to display or if you are a crafter and are interested in being a vendor forms are available on the Visit Bonham web site – visitbonham.com or you can call 903-583-9830 for more information.
